Format

Due to the weather early in the event, forecast for Wednesday, and number of games needed to get all teams to 6 pool play games, we are changing the playoff format to keep all teams on a level playing field. Potential playoffs teams will only play 6 pool play games until playoff teams are determined.

NEW PLAYOFF FORMAT (Updated 7/11 10:00 PM)
·72 teams will advance to playoffs
·All playoff games will be 5 innings until the semifinal round.
·49 pool winners after 6 pool play games.  (Tie-breaker rules apply.)
·23 next best teams based on Winning %, Runs Allowed, Runs Scored.
·Seeds #57-72 will play 1st round of playoffs Wednesday evening.
·64 teams will advance into Thursday morning.

Unfortunately, we can no longer guarantee the 7th game for all teams.  There will possibly be some afternoon/evening games available if teams are interested.

- Pools of 8

- Each team will play 7 pool play games, weather permitting.

- Teams will play 1 pool play game on the 11th & 12th.- The 13th will consist of just playoffs and the 14th will only have the final four teams playing.

PERFECT GAME HISTORY
The Perfect Game network began in 1993 with a vision from former scout and college coach Jerry Ford.
That vision was simple: "To give young players the best opportunity for success, to help scouts and recruiters
see and evaluate these players, and to promote the game of baseball at all levels".

Perfect Game has been hosting elite amateur events all over the country since 1997.
Talk about credibility and reputation.
