Francisco Lindor is a 2011 SS with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Clermont, FL who attends Montverde HS. Medium live bodied middle infielder's build. 6.80 runner but has run better, extremely balanced and polished defensive skills, circles and works thru the ball very well, soft hands, can throw on the run from multiple angles, has some flare to him in the field. Switch hitter, open stance both sides, shorter and quicker from the right side, shows hard pull power right handed, longer swing with more extension left handed. True shortstop, can make all the plays look easy. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida State. Selected to the Aflac All-American team.
