Bryce Buhs is a 2024 MIF/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Benld, IL who attends Gillespie. Medium frame with a sturdy build showing strength throughout. Ran a 7.35 second sixty yard dash. Primary Middle Infielder, sitting back on the baseball a bit. Bend at waist gather before working into transfer. Compact arm stroke and was accurate with throws up to 79 mph. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a smooth, clean operation. Lifts to the belt before striding out. Gets extended and released from a higher slot. Falling off to first base side at times creating command issues but an easy fix. Fastball with life up to 84 mph. Also mixed in a sharp breaking ball in the low-70's with sharp 10-to-4 shape. Proved to be a swing and miss pitch. Upside on the mound present. Right-Handed Hitter, slightly crouched down with an open front side. Toe tap to stride as he lands balanced. Works into a linear cut as he looks to drive it to the pull-side. Proved to have some thump in the bat when he timed it up properly. Great Student.
