Bryce Meccage is a 2024 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Pennington, NJ who attends The Pennington. Big wiry frame with significant room to fill. Primary right-handed pitcher, easier and methodical delivery, coils and builds well before driving well down the slope. Up to 95 with the fastball, pretty explosive carry/upward life to it and pitches at the top of the zone with confidece, shows both curveball and slider with big spin and movement numbers across both; curveball more of 11-to-5 with spin in 2700s, slider the better pitch now as he gets true horizontal into 2900s. Higher-end stuff, can miss a ton of bats when competing in the zone. Committed to Virginia.
