Miles Harper Jr is a 2023 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Bartlett, TN who attends Bartlett. Outstanding athletic build with nice length and good strength and more strength to come. Primary right handed pitcher, has a deep arm slot with a high 3/4's arm slot, high energy delivery with lots of moving parts, has some deception and hides the ball well, athletic enough to control his delivery well. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, plenty more velocity there in the future, arm is fast and he gets out front with the pitch. Slider is a good second pitch with good spin and some depth at times, gets on top of the slider well. Also mixed in a developing change up. 7.46 runner in the sixty. Plays first base and outfield on defense, showed really nice hands picking ball at first base, has plenty of arm strength and showed it well in drills. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall and narrow stance with a long open stride into contact, takes a big swing and is looking to drive the ball. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine Mid-South Showcase Top Prospect List.
