Carson Messina is a 2024 RHP/UT with a 6-3 225 lb. frame from Summerville, SC who attends Summerville. Taller build with a strong frame and has a workhorse build. Really uses his strong frame well to create very firm stuff. Pounded the zone at the bottom early and often. High spin slider that got a ton of bad empty swings. Power arsenal that could get a ton of leverage innings early at the next level. Maintained stuff throughout and attacked with a ton of confidence. Very good student and committed to South Carolina.
