Jackson Ferris is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Mount Airy, NC who attends IMG Academy. Outstanding pitcher's build with a long and loose upper half and a strong lower half. High 3/4's to over the top arm slot with some upper body lean, repeats his mechanics very well on his fastball. Outstanding fastball, very consistent 94-96 mph with big downhill angle and late life, gets his velocity easily and that makes it deceptive, dominated some of the best hitters in the country with his fastball. Still tweaking the consistency in release and slot for his curveball and change up but they flash quality. Pitches with confidence and is under control. Good student, verbal commitment to Mississippi. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
