Thomas White is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Rowley, MA who attends Phillips Academy. Extra large frame with super long limbs, a lean build, and a ton of room for additional physical projection. Primary left-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Methodical delivery with a long, offline arm action. Incredibly low effort operation with plenty of left-handed arm speed. Extremely clean release with the fastball working 93-96 mph. Excellent life and vertical carry on the fastball. Flashes plus angle when body is synced up. Slider had good raw spin north of 2700+ rpm with up to 16 inches of horizontal sweep. Comfortable fastball command with up to 23 inches of induced vertical break. Can manipulate spin between curveball and slider shape. Flashed a changeup that was spiked but has shown a good one in the past. Checks a ton of boxes in terms of high school arms and has developed very nicely. Great student. Verbal commitment to Vanderbilt. Selected to play in the 2022 PG All-American Classic.
