Brandon McCabe is a 2017 RHP with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Boynton Beach, FL who is home schooled. Medium athletic build, some present strength with more to come. High energy delivery, over the top release point after a big stride out front, gets very good plane to the plate, repeated his delivery surprisingly well, "Monica Seles" yell at release. Outstanding raw stuff, fastball topped out at 95 and hitters are late, curveball is hard and big and nasty and a present plus pitch when located. Showed a very interesting change up as well. Reliever profile with the delivery and effort but the stuff is top drawer when in the strike zone. Good student, verbal commitment to Miami.
