Cole Wilcox is a 2018 RHP/1B with a 6-5 220 lb. frame from Chickamauga, GA who attends Heritage HS. Outstanding pitcher's build, long and loose with present strength and more to come. Loose arm action with lots of 3/4's extension, gets very good lower half use and power and his delivery, velocity comes easily. Fastball topped out at 95 mph, gets on hitters quickly, mostly straight. Slider flashed good tilt but wasn't consistent this outing, have seen better on other occasions. Checks all the boxes for a future top end power pitcher, especially with further development of his secondary pitches. Very good student, verbal commitment to Georgia. Selected for the 2017 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
