Connor Bresler (2028 OF, Glen Gardner, NJ) put together a dominant performance on both the offensive and defensive end. The 5-foot-11 right-hander struck out two batters over an efficient two innings of work, while allowing just one hit. He filled up all parts of the zone with the fastball and topped it out at 79 mph. He also flashed a shorter CB with a bit of late horizontal break to disrupt hitters' timing. At the plate, Bresler went 3-for-3 with two runs scored. The right-handed hitter manipulates the barrel well around the strike zone and is capable of working the entire field.
Niko West (2027 1B, Warren, NJ) was on the barrel all game long, finishing 3-for-3 with a run scored. The 6-foot right-handed hitter has a good feel for the barrel and controls it well throughout the zone. He offers intriguing power potential as he continues to physically mature. On the mound, the right-hander tossed an efficient relief inning, striking out two batters and running the heater up to 77 mph.
Tyler Hager (2027 OF, Wall Township, NJ) offers tons of intrigue as an arm. The lanky 6-foot-3 right-hander struck out six batters over three innings of work. The fastball showed life out of the hand with some late arm-side run. He used it to get ahead of counts early on and topped it out at 80 mph. Hager complimented the heater with a shorter curveball that kept hitters guessing. He projects for an uptick in velocity as he continues to add strength to his frame.
Jordan Rothseid (2027 MIF, West Orange, NJ) jumped on a first-pitch fastball early on in the first inning and lined it to left field for a single. He utilizes a simple, repeatable stroke with good bat-to-ball skills. The 5-foot-9 right-handed hitter showcased a fairly consistent barrel.
Michael Cummings (2027 3B, Weehawken, NJ) turned on a fastball and drove it down the left field line for an RBI single. The 5-foot-6 right-handed hitter takes an aggressive approach at the plate and commands the barrel well throughout the strike zone.
Jorden Espino (2027 C, Voorhees, NJ) drove in a run with a well-struck line drive down the left field line. The 5-foot-6 right-handed hitter has tons of quickness in the hips and hands. He delivers the barrel on-time and commands it well.
Devin Pollock (2027 OF, Wanaque, NJ) turned on a fastball and drove it into left field for a single. He has tons of strength in the hands as well as at impact. The 5-foot-9 right-handed hitter will continue to add to his power tool as he physically matures.
