Jalen Collins is a 2025 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Newburgh, NY who attends Newburgh Free Academy. Collins works from a medium broad frame with strength proportioned throughout the build. As a primary 3B, he displayed controlled actions while attempting to get on top of throws and carry momentum, ultimately topping out at 72 mph across the diamond. The glove was clean with additional arm strength developing in the future. On the bump, Collins started from the 1B side of the rubber and stayed balanced well throughout the delivery to top out at 75 mph. He released from a high 3/4 slot flashing an 11-5 shaped breaker with decent vertical depth. Offensively, the righty started from a more upright narrow stance with lots of weight on the back side. He swung with intent to keep the bat path level through the zone and produced consistent contact over the course of his round. Posted an exit velo of 80 mph. Great student.
