Steele is a young, physically gifted player who has the ability to become a middle of the order run producer at the next level as he gains more strength. He already has good bat quickness and generates good line drive gap power with wood from his 6-2, 180 lb frame. With some more upper body and hand strength, Steele could become a real force with a good pro future. Another thing we liked a lot was that Steele made plays in the game, not just in workouts. He has corner of the field speed on defense but made a number of good plays that showed off his arm strength, good hands and strong fundamentals. Steele hit well in game situations, too. He projects very nicely and his best days are still ahead of him. It will be real interesting to see Steele again in a couple years. David is a very interesting player.
