Seth Sharpe is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Eden, NC who attends John M Morehead. Lean compact frame and the body will hold more healthy weight in the future. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, slower to the ball, good glove out front, accurate arm to the bag with throws on a low line, produced some carry, worked through it cleanly, opened up some on throws to home, solid overall round and would benefit from some more aggression. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full windup from the first base side of the rubber, quick operation and attacks the zone hard, solid pacing to the delivery, abbreviated leg lift, breaks hands into full inline arm path, three-quarters slot, generates it well out of the core and gets over the front side well, fastball rides through the zone up to 85-mph and 2200 spin, short tight horizonal slider spun in the mid 70s with 2300+ spin rates, profiles nicely on the mound with more to give in there. RIght-handed hitter, even start with high hands and back elbow, rocks to backside, toe tap trigger, some low middle of the field line drives during the round. Projects very nicely on the mound with five strikeouts in two innings, has the athleticism and projection to really make a jump here long term. Fantastic student.
