Jack Chipman is a 2022 RHP/ with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Notre Dame College Prep. He has a medium frame with a thick build build. Primary right-handed pitcher that uses a full wind up with a leg lift that goes above the belt. He has an on balance motion and utilizes dip and drive back leg mechanics. He does a nice job of working down the mound and staying in line with the plate. He throws with a short and in line arm action from a 3/4 slot. He is aggressive with his fastball, attacking hitters early and often with it. He showed the ability to pitch to both sides of the plate. His curveball worked well off the fastball, showing 11-5 shape with some depth and downer action when he releases it out in front of his body. He does a nice job of tunneling his changeup, making it tough on opposing hitters. Good student.
