Harley Eckert is a 2027 C/OF with a 5-6 114 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Highland Park. Young, lean frame with a high waist and narrow shoulders, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.92 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, higher set up behind the plate during drills, receives out front, full arm action on throws, tends to get uphill with release, gains short ground coming out, will continue to refine overall actions. Charges the ball hard in the outfield, fields the ball off to side, works through release and throws with intent, gets under the ball at times. Switch-hitter, graded out best from the right side in this look; begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate with a slightly open stance, shows some hand speed in swing, keeps them inside, contact oriented approach, occasionally gets downward with path. Keeps hands inside the ball left-handed as well, high hand set and back elbow, upper body dominant swing, repeats path through the zone.
