2021 14U Summer Northeast Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Logan Reed is a 2025 3B/RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Owings, MD who attends Northern High School. Recorded a 8.61-second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, compact frame with strength remaining to be added throughout build. Primary third baseman, showed some athleticism with range going to his right and left. Developing arm strength with throws across the diamond up to 65 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, athletic operation with an over the top arm slot. Fastball up to 65 mph, spraying his fastball in all four quadrants of the strike zone. Projectability remaining as he matures physically and continues to develop feel for pitch arsenal. Right-handed hitter, sets up with a narrow, even, upright stance and high-hand set. Middle of the field approach with a downhill swing plane. Displayed some feel for the barrel, ball will continue to carry as he adds strength. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
