2023 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Joe Rizzo is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Newtown, PA who attends Council Rock North. Rizzo worked exclusively from his primary OF spot during his day, showcasing plenty of projection remaining in the frame. He displayed a calculated approach and got behind the ball well to put himself in positions to throw, ultimately topping out at 77 mph. Rizzo flashed developing footwork and repeated the throwing mechanics well to produce accurate throws on the bag. Offensively, the righty started from a wider base with a compact hand set and high back elbow that generated consistent contact back up the middle. He used a toe-tap trigger for timing with power becoming more prominent to match the contact tool in the future. Ran a 7.76 sixty yard dash.
