Jackson Redmond is a 2026 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Freehold, NJ who attends Freehold Twp. Long-levered frame with slender build and plenty of room to add strength moving forward. Recorded a 5.67 second forty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with some deception due to higher, coiled leg lift and lots of moving parts coming at the hitter. Fastball worked in the upper-70s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 81 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Strike thrower that attacks with his fastball, mixed in slower 11-5 shaped breaking ball that varied in shape and flashed both horizontal and vertical tilt at times. Showed ability to sequence well and generate weak contact, will continue to improve with proper refinements mechanically and additional strength. Secondary infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Used deliberate footwork to range laterally from side-to-side and funnels out in-front with a slight waist bend. Produced arm strength up to 79 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, bent-knee stance with a tight hand set and low back elbow. Incorporates barrel tip loading mechanism and toe-tap trigger for timing. Slightly lofted stroke with compact hand path and fairly consistent bat-to-ball skills. Middle-of-the field approach with some present bat speed and line drive impact when on-time and in-sync. Will continue to expand his overall hit tool and add power with additional strength. Fundamentally sound prospect with two-way upside and projection remaining. Good Student.
