Connor Shurts is a 2023 2B/RHP, MIF with a 5-9 158 lb. frame from Everett, WA who attends Cascade. He ran a 8.64 second sixty. A primary second baseman with an average medium build. On the infield he showed some clean actions with the glove transferring into a clean arm action up to a higher slot with developing arm strength. On the mound he starts with a side step into a belt high leg lift as the arm works short through the back on line up to a three-quarters arm slot, he stays tall on the back side falling into stiff front leg as the fastball sat 67-71 mph and was complimented with a low 60's breaking ball that showed developing spin traits. Right-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base with a quick stride allowing the foot to get down on time with the hands working to the inside part of the ball driving it to the opposite field at his best.
