Brett McInnis is a 2027 SS/RHP, C, 3B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Lemars, IA who attends Le Mars. Works from a medium frame with some physical upside. Primary shortstop, worked through the baseball well, has some lateral range, utilized a shorter arm stroke, recorded arm strength up to 68 mph across the diamond. Secondary catcher, starts in a low crouch and slightly side saddled stance, gains some ground on the gather, utilized a shorter arm stroke from just behind the ear, kept the throws around the bag, recorded arm strength up to 65 mph and a pop time of 2.25. Left-handed hitter, starts in a wider slightly open stance with a high hand set-up and high back elbow, utilizes a bigger leg lift trigger, creates some separation, showed the ability to work the entire field, produced line drives to the pull-side when timed up, offers some power potential, recorded an exit velocity of 73 mph. Ran an 8.32 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
