LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2023 Virginia Indoor Showcase (Feb. 26)
Hunter Reed is a 2026 OF/RHP/1B/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Point Of Rocks, MD who attends Catoctin. Nice young athletic build with good present strength and more to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight and balanced stance with a short toe tap load, fires his hands with intent, aggressive swing approach, will pull off early at times, ball comes off the barrel hard when he's squared up, line drive contact, has the hitting tools to continue to improve offensively. Primary outfielder on defense, still working on developing his footwork through the ball, has some arm strength and carry on his throws. Also worked out in the infield but profiles best in the outfield. Good athlete with a chance to hit. Good student. Named to the Virginia Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
