Jacob Spates is a 2026 3B/RHP/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends Rouse. Medium athletic build with good present strength for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a long and loose swing, will cast his hands out at times, best when he's staying direct to the ball, swings hard and creates good bat speed, line drive swing plane, showed good timing in the games and pulled the ball hard with some carry, projects well as a hitter. 7.61 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, showed step by step actions with some footwork, gets lined up on his throws well and makes accurate throws with developing arm strength.
