Dylan Wood is a 2026 3B/RHP/C with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Diamond Bar, CA who attends Ruben S. Ayala. Features a lean build with room to add more. Ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Showcased quick feet with good range in both directions. Soft hands work through hops well, catching the ball consistently. Will make the routine play, as well as the occasional highlight-reel play. Reached 75 mph on throws across with more arm strength coming down the line. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a low hand setup at the plate. Swings on an uphill path with a high finish. Looks to hit the ball in the air. Approach works through the middle of the field. Still developing the strength to drive balls with authority consistently. Right-handed pitcher. Uses a semi-windup delivery into slight drop and drive mechanics down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot with a long, clean arm action. Fastball sat 75-78 mph, topping out at 80 mph. Can create slight armside run at times, allowing the offering to work well on the inner-half to right-handed hitters. Changeup at 67-70 mph showed quality fading action. Will throw double up on the offering at times. Curveball at 61-64 mph with slurvy action. Still developing consistent bite on the offering. Very good student.
