Patrick Kozielec is a 2025 3B/RHP with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Bishop Gorman. Posted an 8.62 in the 60 yard dash. Primary infielder, developing some quickness and short burst. Showed a natural feel for the position displaying good glove skill to both sides. Slight stiffness to receive with a longer arm action; limited momentum through the play. Decent actions with young tendencies, plenty of progress to show for ahead of him with added athleticism to his tools. Also pitched, medium frame and squared shoulders, uses a simple operation with a medium leg lift and gathers off the backside. Worked with a deliberate tempo and displayed a deep circle arm action releasing at a 3/4 arm slot. He topped the fastball out at 68 mph and dropped a developing breaking ball in the zone. Minimal power off the rubber for now, plenty of lower half to engage in the delivery. Mature approach did not try to over throw, he flashed some pitchability keeping hitters off-balanced with the breaking ball. Right handed hitter, even stance with hands at the ear holding a vertical barrel to start. Uses a leg lift trigger that showed some feel for timing. Gets steep into the zone with a long swing, and looked to use the whole field. Sprayed playable contact around, with added looseness to the mechanics there is some life in the healthy hack. He has time to develop some barrel control and build the lower half to advance his skills to a new level.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
