Greyson Jones is a 2026 RHP/IF/OF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Lewisville, NC who attends West Forsyth. Young athlete with emerging overall skills, long and lean with a lot of time to add physicality in the next few years. Primary position RHP who started from an even stance and on the 3B side of the rubber. Using a small side step he transitioned to a sound balance point with a leg lift just above the belt. He created a deep, full arm path that was slightly behind his body and accelerated his arm into a 3/4 arm angle. Clean line as he transitions down the bump and finished well over his front side. Does tend to get into early front side rotation but when he stays inline at foot strike he generated a FB in the 71-76 mph range. His breaking ball was a two-plane pitch with mostly horizontal shape in the 63-65 mph range and showed a CH as well that is a nice contribution to his arsenal. Carried himself in a calm manner on the mound and shows nice projection at the position. Also took reps on the IF, working methodically through the ball and working his hands in a way that showed some feel. Could stand to come get the ball more aggressively and needs to refine the mechanics on slow roller. At the plate, hits from and open stance and stays open through acceleration and does cause him to be a bit rotational. Works on plane and hits the ball with loft and will show power with development and strength. Looks the part on the mound, interesting young player to follow.
