2023 13U/14U Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Luke Dierlam is a 2028 C/RHP/3B with a 5-4 150 lb. frame from Shiner, TX who attends Shiner. Smaller frame with some physicality already. Ran an 8.18 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, narrow base and sits low, some segments to his actions but an idea to work up through the baseball, medium arm stroke and showed some carry to the bag with accuracy. Also plays infield and outfield, corner guy who plays back on it a bit, works around it and funnels clean, has some actions on the dirt and glove works well. Pitches too, full arm stroke and works through a high slot, gets downhill on the fastball and stays down well, has some arm speed and overall feel for the zone is good. Right-handed hitter, wide setup and high hand set, longer swing and good timing, works to the pull side with consistency and showed some flashes of impact.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
