Luke Newman is a 2026 3B/RHP/MIF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Washington Crossing, PA who attends Council Rock North. Newman works from a medium lean build with additional room to project and fill out as a '26 prospect. Working from the IF, he displayed reliable glove work with developing actions and arm strength across the diamond up to 73 mph. He made plays asked of him with feel for lateral range developing as Newman matures. On the bump, the RHP started from the middle of the rubber with a small side step and chest high leg lift, once again topping out at 73 mph. He utilized a compact 3/4 arm path to remain in the zone with feel for the curve continuing to refine at 1817 rpm. Offensively, Newman started from an even balanced base with a tight hand set and simple stride into impact. He swung with intent to get the barrel out in front and use all parts of the field, posting an exit velo of 71 mph. Good student.
