Carson Sweet is a 2025 C/ with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Macomb, MI who attends Sterling Heights Stevenson. Tall, physical build with well proportioned strength in the frame. Ran a 7.72 sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher, works from a side saddled setup, gains ground well to the bag. Compact arm action, quick release and throws were directly on the bag. Athletic mover behind the dish with good arm strength. Recorded throws up to 73 mph and a pop-time of 2.13. Right-handed hitter, open front side with high hands in the stance. Knee lift trigger stride, pulls the barrel hard through the zone. Ties himself up at times, fights to get the hands inside the ball, when in rhythm he showed big jump off the barrel. Recorded an exit velocity of 81 mph. Great student.
