Tanner Anderson is a 2026 OF/RHP, C, 2B, MIF, IF, UT with a 5-2 110 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Chaparral. In the outfield, he charges the ball hard And maintains momentum through the catch point. He showed a short arm action but needs to add more strength in order to carry balls to the bags, behind the plate he received balls with a side saddle set up and gained ground quickly from the crouch, showing good foot work but needs time to develop. On the mound, Tanner showed a semi wind up delivery with slight drop and drive mechanics. The stride is short down the mound but has some arm speed present. He delivers from a three-quarters slot with medium effort, repeats it well with slight arm side run on the fastball on the inner half of the plate. Topping out at 71 mph. His two breaking balls, were a round curveball (56-58) with 12-6 action that he was able to command for strikes early in the count. As well as, a fading change ranging between 62 and 64 mph that he throws for strikes, He maintains arm speed well but used it sparingly. At the dish, he swings it out of an open stance, narrow base, low hand set up. He loads well and showed a linear path to the baseball with an approach that stays hard on the ground through the middle of the field.
