2021 Northwest Prospect Showcase
Nicholas Barac is a 2024 OF/ with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Sammamish, WA who attends Eastside Catholic. Medium frame with longer shape and slender space to keep filling. 7.11 60-yd. Primary outfielder attacked the baseball with clean footwork and glovework out in front of him. The compact arm was able to keep it straight to the bag and flashed some whippy actions in the finish. The arm strength was fair and projects to add more as he incorporates more from the lower half. Offensively works with a wide, tall stance keeping the hands on the back shoulder. Lots of pre-pitch movement but showed the ability to take hands to the baseball and work the barrel upwards through the zone. The swing is easy and was able to stick through the middle and into the gaps flashing more available as he matures. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
