Kyson Rinnert is a 2025 RHP/C/1B with a 6-4 170 lb. frame from Marion, NC who attends Mcdowell. Tall, lean and very projectable frame with long legs, high waist and a lot of room to add physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.57 seconds. Primary position RHP, working exclusively from the stretch and using a belt high leg lift to load over rubber. Long, loose arm path in the back working up to a high 3/4 arm angle. Rides legs pretty well down the slope and is at best when getting to full extension. FB with some angle as it sat in the low-80's for most of the outing. CB/CH mix for his off speed selection, both are emerging pitches and the CH may be his best secondary pitch currently with its fading action and deadening spin. A lot of projection here. Secondary IF, presenting glove early and with good accuracy. Short arm swing creating throws up to 76 mph across the diamond. Knows his way around the bag at 1B. RHH working from a slightly open stance and knee lift trigger to get things started. Emerging overall bat speed. There is leverage here and should project some power with added physicality. Best bolts were to the oppo side, staying inside the ball with low-line drives to RF. Elite performer academically and some two-way potential on the field.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
