Jonathan Padgett is a 2022 C/2B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Sandalwood. Taller height with some strength in the core. Ran a 7.24 in the sixty yard dash. A primary catcher, uses an athletic set with very good lower half mobility. Simple, clean and short actions with some explosion out of the crouch. Gets to a good position and has a quicker shoulder. A right-handed hitter, wide base to start with a toe tap trigger and lets the hands go quick to the ball from launch. uses his turn to get the barrel to the ball and does have some hand strength as he looks to pull line drives. Good student.
