Riley Brown is a 2025 3B/1B with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Cottonwood Heights, UT who attends Brighton. Medium build with very good present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance and gets coiled well in his close, torques his hips hard and has fast hands, stays short to the ball, creates nice leverage through the ball and has a real ability to impact, mostly pull side contact with the ability to lift and carry the ball. 6.99 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has step by step actions and is fundamentally sound, works through the back hand well with proper footwork, has a short and compact arm action and gets rid of the ball quickly. Bat is his tool. Good student, verbal commitment to Utah.
