Nicholas Bobinski-Boyd is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Edwardsville, IL who attends Edwardsville. Large frame with projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.20 seconds. Hits from wide-based stance with leg lift trigger, high hands and back elbow, loads hands deep into bar, middle approach, some strength when on time. Worked out in the outfield, out front with two hands, tepid closing steps to the ball, hooked arm stroke through the back, maintains balance, clocked up to 78 mph on throws. Also pitched, crossfire stride with timing issues through arm stroke, max effort delivery with violent release, stride length varies, fastball worked 72-79 mph with arm side life, showed solid changeup feel as well. Very good student.
