Paul Dufrene V is a 2028 RHP/1B/3B with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from Cut Off, LA who attends Covenant Christian Academy. A lean build with a bigger frame. Tons of length throughout, with projectability moving forward. Ran a 7.97 60-yard dash. A primary right-handed pitcher with a clean arm action, being loose and whippy through his arm stroke. Had a high leg lift and works down the mound well with a projectable delivery. He gets on top with some whip to the arm getting downhill. Had some arm-side run on the fastball, not being afraid to run it in on the hands. Comes out really good with some zip. Also had a big 12-6 curveball with depth to it. Had a changeup as well. Punched out 3 hitters over 3.0 innings of no-hit ball. A right-handed hitter with a bigger frame and a wider base. Keeps his hands back and was able to flash some leverage. Had a lower handset and was able to work uphill and get the ball in the air. Picked up 2 hits in-game. Worked out as a first baseman with a pretty good glove and athletic actions. Good mechanics with whip to the arm. Fielded it up the middle and had good movement around the bag. Also worked out as an outfielder with aggressive actions to it with throws getting to the bases. Threw from a three-quarters arm slot with some carry. Also worked out as an infielder, fielding it up the middle, showing the pocket early, and funneling well through the throws. Exceptional student.
