Landon Anderson is a 2027 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Cypress, CA who attends Cypress. Features a smaller/athletic frame. Ran a 7.23 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed quality actions where there’s some slow down into reception but regathers with quickness into throws. OF throws used a longer arm action where he got off accurate 1-hops to the bag topping out at 82. In the INF, his actions were cleaner/confident. Stays low to the ground and displayed his glove early fielding it clean with soft hands. Similar arm action from the OF, working longer in the back with easy effort to release but with 50/50 accuracy. At the plate, he sits in a balanced stance with loose hands. Uses a rhythmic leg lift trigger he syncs with his hands popping back into a slight arm bar at launch. Top-hand/higher-effort swing delivering the barrel on a direct path through with a longer finish. Found a couple barrels during gameplay. On the mound, he side steps into a mid chest knee lift. More of a tall/fall type mover who keeps a stays more upright working more north/west directionally. Maintained his positional arm action, more long/loose to a higher ¾ slot. Controlled his fastball well in-zone in the mid 70s. Mixed in an 11-5 curveball that exhibited solid downward shape. Also killed spin on a mid 60s changeup. Named to Top Prospects List.
