Will Congo is a 2027 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Madison, AL who attends James Clemens. Young, athletic build. Ran a 8.07 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, athletic actions working to the baseball, one hand gather on the side of the frame, long arm swing to a higher slot, works through the baseball well and carries momentum. Good arm for the age which should continue to get better as he gets older, recorded throws up to 81 mph. Right-handed hitter, high hands and a high back elbow in the stance, short stride out into contact, simple and repeatable cut with good feel for the barrel. Drove liners into both gaps with good bat speed and more to project on. Secondary right-handed pitcher, repeatable operation, belt high leg lift and stays compact down the slope. Loose arm action, cuts the fastball a bit in the low-70s, topping out at 74 mph (1650 RPM). Mixed in a tight, short breaking slider in the low-60s. Also worked out in the infield, clean actions with the same athleticism we saw in the outfield, moves around with fluid movements, clean funnel out front and strong arm across. Has ability to make all the plays, recorded throws up to 80 mph. Excellent student. Named to 2023 14u Deep South All-State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
