Kainalu Spear is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Honolulu, HI who attends Punahou. Spear has very advanced mechanics on the mound and throws multiple plus pitches. His low to mid 80s fastball is delivered over the top with a lot of tilt. His arm slot is a great set up for his 12/6 plus curveball. Spear will have the chance to pitch at a high level on his current path. His strong base gives him gap to gap power at the plate with the ability to use the whole field. In the outfield Kainalu makes extremely strong and accurate throws. He is also a very strong student.
