Dylan Greenough-Groom is a 2023 LHP with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Sheridan, WY who attends Big Horn. Slender young athletic build with good length and lots of physical projection. Has a simple and repeatable delivery on the mound, fluid mechanics with a high 3/4's arm slot, stays very balanced and directional with a low effort release out front. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, has nice running life on the pitch and can work it to both sides of the plate, got swing and miss on his fastball due to it's late life. Rare breaking ball, will have to continue to work on improving his secondary pitches as he will gain plenty of fastball velocity as he matures physically. Left handed hitter, has the same type of fluid, low effort swing as he does actions on the mound, handles the barrel well with a gap to gap approach and an accurate barrel, flashed some power in the games. 7.29 runner in the sixty, showed athletic actions at first base on defense with soft hands and an accurate arm. Interesting young left hander from Wyoming to follow as he gets stronger. Good student.
