Pedro Taveras is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-3 150 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Lanier. Ran a 7.56 60 yard dash. Slender build with lots of projection left. Good arm with good glove actions in the outfield. He was clocked at 75 MPH throwing from the outfield. At the plate, high hand set up with an arm bar pre-pitch. Swings with good intent and has a bit of an uppercut bat plane to generate lift in the swing. There's good strength in the swing and has good power to pullside. His highest exit velocity was 84 MPH. Should continue to add power as he fills out.
