2023 Northern California Workout Showcase (Saturday)
Braeden Casey is a 2027 OF/RHP, 3B, MIF, UT with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Spring Valley, CA who attends Foothills Christian. Features a slim but athletic frame. Showcased at pitcher and in the outfield. In the outfield He showed proper footwork and a good glove technique. He had an accurate, developing arm with an over the top release. On the hill he worked with a fastball, curveball and changeup. Once again, he had an over the top arm slot with good arm action on his fastball. Curveball showed good gravitational depth and movement. Changeup had some fade movement. During batting practice he featured a tall and narrow stance. Showed easy quick hands with a good opposite field approach with the ability to use the whole field. He is an excellent student.
