Hayden Porter is a 2025 3B/RHP with a 5-5 112 lb. frame from Valrico, FL who is home schooled. Young, narrow shouldered frame with room to fill throughout and develop moving forward. Ran a 9.51 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front with some bend at waist, works into a long arm action through the back, will continue to refine overall footwork, worked around the bag with throws. Receives the ball out front with two hands from behind the plate, gets tall out of crouch, longer transfer, arm strength will continue to develop. Also pitched, leg lift above belt with turn at top of delivery, full arm action through the back working to a three-quarters slot. Fastball topped out at 62 mph, short sink to the pitch and mixed a breaker up to 52 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a tall and slightly open stance with a high hand set and back elbow pulled back at start. Long swing path through the zone, utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing. Gets the barrel through the zone, linear path to contact, occasionally gets to front side early, comfort working to pull side. Excellent student.
