Osi Lopez is a 2027 SS/RHP, C, 3B with a 4-9 100 lb. frame from Mission, TX who attends La Joya Palmview. Compact and young frame. Ran a 9.72 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield fielding the ball out in front, moves his feet well and has lateral agility, developing arm strength and actions that will continue to improve with reps. Secondary right-handed pitcher, side step delivery up to a high leg lift, compact and online arm stroke up to a high 3/4 arm slot release, fastball is straight up to 61 mph, repeats well and stays online down the mound, will need to implement an offspeed pitch into his arsenal for added effectiveness. Right-handed hitter, open stance with a high hand set, shifts into contact with simple stride, clean overall swing with youthful strength, will continue to improve bat speed and pop as he matures.
