Aaron Gilden is a 2024 C/IF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends St. John's Prep. Compact, physical build with some lean muscle present in his lower half. 4.04-second thirty time. Primary catcher, low, side saddle set up. Quick out of the crouch with proper footwork as he gains ground and remains on line to his target. Compact arm action with accurate throws on the bag, up to 72 mph. Recorded a best pop time of 1.92-seconds. Right-handed hitter, sets up with a narrow, slightly open stance with a low hand set. Quick leg-lift-trigger, getting into his lower half extremely well. Elevated stroke with lightening quick hands that produced plenty of bat speed. Loud round of BP as he displayed present power to the pull side. Remains on time getting his foot down, with line drive tendencies to the gaps. Excellent student.
