Jaxzen Scheidt is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Atoka, TN who attends Munford. Tall and lean build with good projection to the frame. Ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, athletic movements to the ball, gets the glove down early and works through the ball well with a clean funnel out front, good arm strength across, throws have carry and was accurate, recorded throws up to 75 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works from a full windup delivery, clean inline arm circle in the back to a high three-quarter slot, higher leg lift to balance, challenges hitters with good two pitch mix of fastball, up to 78 mph (2004 RPM), and a curveball, up to 63 mph (1863 RPM). Also worked out in the outfield, step by step movements, under control on the charge, works through the ball, arm strength is good, developing accuracy, recorded throws up to 76 mph. Right-handed hitter, wide and even base, solid lift to the path, leg lift trigger, has some good rhythm to the swing, struggled to get timed up consistently, impacted the ball to the middle of the field when in rhythm. Excellent student. Named to 2023 13u/14u Sunshine Gulf Coast Top Prospect List.
