Adrian Olvera is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Lamar HS. Medium build with some compact present strength. Right handed hitter, has a big leg raise trigger, uphill swing approach with his weight on his backside through contact, gets some separation and extension through contact, has some strength to his hands, works mid field to the opposite field and handled the barrel well. 8.52 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has active feet and works well behind the ball, gets in good position to field it and has soft hands at the ball, developing arm strength from a higher release point, best suited for second base in the infield. Also played the outfield with similar actions, is smooth through the ball with good footwork and a clean release.
