Maximus Schuler is a 2025 3B/1B with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Lake City, FL who attends Columbia. Big and strong physical build, especially for his age. Right handed hitter, has a hand raise load with a short stride into contact, long and extended swing with developing bat speed, can use his strong lower half more in creating bat speed, tools to keep improving with adjustments. Primary third baseman on defense, has a long arm action from a high release point, step by step fielder, developing arm strength. Took a turn on the mound, rotational upper body delivery, deep arm action in back with a 3/4's arm slot, short stride out front. Did a good job throwing strikes with a mid-70's fastball that had some sinking life and created ground ball contact. Developing curveball. Very good student.
