West Smith is a 2026 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Germantown, TN who attends St. George's Independent. Big projectable body. In the infield, he fits more of a corner down the line but moved with a sound first step in either direction while maintaining a low center of gravity. Shows the pocket on time and works through the appropriate hop. At the plate, he sets up in rigid stance with medium base. From there the load happens late in the process. The common theme across the round was opposite field intent. The bat speed shown was well above average with budding strength. On the mound, its a methodical belt high kick into some drop and drive style mechanics. Fastball comes out of a three-quarters slot with subtle to moderate arm side run. Got it to the inner third with conviction frequently in a brief outing. Pulls down the curveball hard to create 11-5 action with solid depth. Effcient outing pitched to contact with a put away breaking ball that he has the ability to bury for whiffs.
