Bud Riley is a 2023 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Altamont. Right-handed hitter with an open stance and high hand set. Drops the hands to the chest prior to launch. Releases the front side early, would benefit from keeping the front shoulder closed and increasing lower half drive. Hits the ball on the back side, very deep on the plate. Long swing with opposite field approach. Exit velocity will improve as he hits the ball farther out in front and creates more depth with the barrel. Great student.
